Polytechnic Administrators Ready For Technical University Concept

The Ghana Association of Polytechnic Administrators has guaranteed legislature of its status for the full take-off of the specialized college idea starting from the 2016 scholastic year.


The managers are a key segment of the polytechnic family and are seen as the motor that runs the everyday exercises of these foundations.

Mr Luguterah Austin, National President of the Association, addressing the Ghana News Agency at the tenth Annual Delegates Congress in Takoradi, said senior individuals in organization of the different polytechnics were well capable and practically identical to those in the conventional colleges.

He said the change thought was splendid and whilst commending government included; "we trust government would proceed with the guide to meet the September 2016 due date."

He, subsequently, begged Ghanaians to guarantee a tranquil race in 2016 including; "so we can all add to national improvement."

Mr Emmanuel Okumi Andoh, Acting Rector of the Takoradi Polytechnic, called for solidarity among them in propelling the undertakings of polytechnics.
